WooCommerce Request a Quote form allows potential customers to contact you to get pricing information for your products. This is especially helpful for businesses that offer a variety of pricing based on the customer’s requirements.
In this article, we’ll show you how to create a request a quote form in WordPress with WooCommerce B2B Pro.
1- Request form types #
B2B Pro gives you two different ways to receive quote requests. You can choose which form type to use from the B2B Pro > Settings > Quotes page.
a) Popup: For a single product #
You can use this form type if you want to receive individual offers for each product. The quotation request form appears as a popup inside the product page.
b) Add to cart: For multiple products #
If you want your customers to create an quote list by selecting more than one product, you can choose this type. Your customers add the products to their cart and when they go to the cart, they can send request by clicking the “Request a quote” button.
2- Getting additional information #
You can add extra fields to your request form if you wish. For example; company name, contact number, message etc. You can also customize the form by choosing which customer groups will see these fields.
To create a new field, click B2B Pro > Settings > Quotes > Add new field and enter the field information.
3- List of quote requests #
You can see the incoming quote requests in detail on the B2B Pro > Quotes page. You can edit the requests you find suitable by clicking the “Make an offer” button and easily convert them into an Offer. This offer will then be displayed on your client’s My Account page. A confirmation badge will appear next to the requests you have converted to Offer.
